Tina Fey (born Elizabeth Stamatina Fey, May 18, 1970) is a writer, actor, actress and producer.She has won five Emmys, a Golden Globe and a SAG Award. Fey is best known for his work on Mean Girls,Saturday Night Live (SNL), his impersonation of the Alaska governor and 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, and their work at 30 Rock, a situation comedy loosely based on their experiences on Saturday Night Live. The December 1, 2008, TV Guide reported that Fey was chosen as the best one of the ten most fascinating people of America 2008 for ABC special hosted by Barbara Walters that aired in April December 2008. Fey became a writer on SNL in 1997.
She was promoted to head writer in 1999. It was added to the distribution of SNL in 2000.After leaving SNL in 2006, Fey created her own television series called 30 Rock. The series depicts her Liz Lemon, head writer TGS with Tracy Jordan, a fictional sketch comedy series. In early 2008 she starred in the movie Baby Mama with Amy Poehler.During the last two months of the 2008 presidential election, Fey has appeared on SNL in 2008 the portrait of Republican vice president candidate Sarah Palin candidate. Fey was born in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia, the daughter of Zenobia,Jeanne (born Xenakis), a brokerage employee, and Donald Fey, a grant proposal for the father of the University writer Fey is German and Scottish descent and his mother of Greek origin.
