Melania Knauss Trump (born Melanija Sota, anglicized to Melania Knauss, April 26, 1970) is a model of Slovenia, and is the wife of American businessman and real estate magnate Donald J. Trump, whom she married on January 22, 2005. Melania Knauss was born the daughter of an Austrian father and Slovenian mother Sevnica, Slovenia, when it was part of Yugoslavia. In 1999, she met Trump at a fashion event. At the same time got a job modeling Allure magazine. Her notoriety was raised a few notches after his appearance on the Howard Stern show with Trump and revealing their sex lives.
